I have a 4th gen prelude SI(2.3l) and I was wondering which is a better intake.... the Iceman or the AEM?? An honestly guys.. dont be biased. If anyone has the Iceman, I'd like to know how you like it... same with the AEM eventhough i think i pretty much know how it is.. Thanks

CAI are all basically the same. biggest plus of the AEM is that it comes w/ a K&N air filter...no matter which intake system u get...it'd be prolly only a difference of 1-2 hp, which ISN'T going to be noticable at all.

not anymore, they use aem brand filters now, no more k&n, i personally like aem. its a better brand IMO.

IMO, it's just the material and look. function is the same from one intake to the next. for example, AEM doesn't have a polished chrome intake if i remember right, but Injen does. Injen is kinda pricey though.

as for the SRI vs CAI:

SRI = low end, louder sound
CAI = high end, not so loud sound

some people, myself included, notice no difference in gains b/w the two types, just the loudness.

i didn't kno that midnight...i'll remember that from now on :D .

as for sri vs cai...bah, ur not going to notice, so really its jus a matter of how much u wanna spend for that 4-6hp.

SRI vs CAI

SRI will give you more hp and faster times on your first run, but suffer dramatically from heatsoak. If you're planning on taking another run within the next half hour, I would suggest a CAI because while it does not provide quite as much low end kick, it does beat out a SRI in top end, plus the power stays there even when under-hood temps rise.
