THE DAMN CLEARANCE LIGHT!!!!! on the passanger side wont come out!! I tried for about an hour, then my dad tried for about an hour, who has smaller hands than I do, but with NO LUCK!! Its pissing me off cause I got everything changed today (headlights, fogs, and right cl light) and I cant get this one! We tried taking the whole friggin light out but after removing the top two screws, something else was holding it on the bottom. HOW DO I UNSCREW THIS ONE DAMN BULB?!! someone previously mentioned long nosed pliars, but it would seem kinda hard to get them in there. ANY IDEAS, PLEASE!!!!!? thanks

I had the exact same question. Nobody seems to know how to take the whole panel out. Looks like you gotta go with the pliers for now.

long nose plyers is the key. also push in alittle while you turn it ccw. should come of with some struggle. not hours and hours though. :D

yah it was pretty frustrating, but you can do it!!!

I used a Philips head screw driver to apply pressure to the light. It seemed as though it was tilted upward for some reason. After I pushed on it a few times, not too hard, it straightened back up and twisted out as easy as the driver's side.

Sorry, I meant flat-head.

we tried using the screwdriver earlier, and it didnt work, its just hard to get a good grip to turn the thing because its in there so tight. WHy didnt they think of this when designing the car?

I placed the screwdriver on the back of the light, not where it touches the assembly. Come to think of it, I put quite a bit of pressure on it. I was at the point to where I didn't care if I broke something, and it came out.

Yeah, that's what I've been saying, but nobody seems to know how to do it. The two top bolts come out easy, but something else is holding it down and I can't spot any other bolts or screws.

There's probably some bolts on the lower part of the light. To get to those, you might have to take off the bumper. Just keep trying it with a screw driver. It'll have to come eventually. just keep workin it till it gets loose

No, dont even bother taking the light out. its actually really easy. the thing that is preventing you mostly from turning that clearance light is that damn windshield washer tank nozzel. force that nozzel into the fender to the left of it, so it stays, dont worry it shouldnt brake. then you have enough room to get those long nosed pliars (important) and turn the connector.

If you guys want you can take out the whole headlight if you want, instructions on how to do this is on the "how to clear corner threads." Here's one link http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/t7093.html
