Ok yestarday I was driving down the highway in my aunts piss of shit Dodge Ram (Its ok now she just got a new VW Jetta) and I was just getting on the exit ramp when some guy in a 7 series came off the on ramp behind us , passed us and got back on the exit ramp we were on.

Now I've always liked the look of the late 80s early 90s 7 series and
5 series BMWs but when I saw the acceliration that this car had I almost shit myself. I never had a clue they had that kinda accel. cause no one around here is daring enough to show it.

So anyway since yestarday my new mission in life is to save up for one this summer or for the next year or so.

But what I need to know from ya'll is what do u thin is the best Late 80s too early 90s model 7 series, 5 series, or 3 series out there.

I want to know which one has best performance, and drives the best, but also has resonable gas millage.

But you have to remeber that I am only 17 and cant afford over $5000

$5000 can get you a 1988 325i. Early 3 series like a 1992 still cost like $12,000.
A 1990 525i can cost around $10,000. Now I'm talkin about BMWs that are in descent condition, not mint condition. Don't bother with a 7 series, you won't afford the maintenance.
If you're into acceleration get a Mustang or a Camaro! You'll money left in yer wallet.

He's right young one, except for one thing. All BMW's are high maintenance unless you're a certified BMW mechanic. You should only buy one if you could afford the maintenance or you want trouble on your hands.

I can get a 733 for $1600, but the front windsheild leaks like a sive, and the body is in perfect condition. Lots of kms on it tho.
