Wheel offsets...???

im ordering my new wheels and i have a choice between +45 and +48. I have no idea what to choose? some one please help me.

I believe the stock offset is 42mm, but I'm not sure which of your two choices would be better.

45 is the proper offset for whatever wheel you get... I'm not 100% sure what offset it, but what it tells you is where the wheel will sit in the wheel well...it lets you buy wheels and be sure they're not gonna be stickin way out past the fender...or too far in hitting the wheel well liner...

I kinda think its the distance from the hub to the inside lip of the wheel? not sure though..

Yeah..it is something like that. If you check out the March '03 SCC (the one with the 4 AWD turbos on the cover), there is an article "101 things you need to know about Sport Compacts" - one of their 101 is explaining wheel offset...but from what I remember reading, Jason, you're pretty close dude. ;)

ok..now I remember..its the distance from the hub to the center of the wheel..that makes more sense :)
