Toyota Supra Project Pics (3)

Hey guys, started on my supra. So far I painted it TS pearl white, needs to be clear coated next week, the chassis, and most of the interior, just the dash and center counsole needs to be finished. Wheels will be Fujimi Work Meisters. I also made a led pencil exhaust thats almost finished and ready to be put on. No wing will be put on it either. Stay Tuned for more pics later tonight, Im gonna take some with the wheels on. Here it is so far.

I'm gonna wait for the SAS transkit even though it will take long.
I'm sure it will be worth the wait.

Thanks for the compliments, The wheels are great, for fujimi anyways.. Ill have finished interior pics tommorow and ill also be starting the engine and finishing off the exhaust

Thanks, Hiroboy, If you do try it, just so you know, I didnt use a white base coat b4 putting the pearl on, just tamiya primer. I think it looks really good without it. Also, I painted it one night, and had a hair mess up, so i resprayed right over the pearl i had sprayed the night b4, and it was 3 times shinier than it was. Just some tips.. Good luck

Very nice, but everytime i see the car i think it isn't painted cuz i am used to that being the color most models are molded in, must just be me:confused:

Thanks. You really got to see it in person to get the whole pearl effect. If you havent painted with Pearl Yet, It looks metallic. Thats why you need to see it in real life. Maybe once I get some outdoor pics it will look better.

Dammit you beat me to it! :( I too was thinking of bolting a set workmeister's on my supra! Ah well... It looks hype! :)

very nice supra you have there. I'm also pleased to see some of that "wingless" smoothed supra fad coming into play with 1/24 supras. may I ask why one seat is standard and the other looks to be a racing seat of some sort?

I dunno Bloodhound, I saw one racing seat in SpoonManDos' and really liked it, so figured what the hell. And besides, I only had one racing seat. And it was a bitch getting the sticker off that the person b4 me had it put on it :eek:
