I just bought a car and it has an alarm already on it. But I saw those scanners (I think there called) that have the LEDs that just blink across it. How hard would it be to install one of those to an alarm system, and how would I do it. Thanks.

No. The LED scanners. They just light up when your alarm is armed.

um first question is where do you want this "scanner" on your car? and does your alarm already have an armed light on the inside? if so it'll be easy as hell to wire up anywhere in your car.. Just need a radioshack, and some soldering equipment.., and remember in most states you can't have "red scanners" like the ones on "knight rider" they're illegal... something to do with the cops, and firefighters lights... but from what I heard you can do most any other color... you can buy them as a kit, but it's always on, when the car is.. and what you want we could build a whole lot cheaper than their kit is..
