Help! Car Cancer!

OK, my 91 two door is really starting to rust out bad, but all the rust is concentrated on the rear fenders. I'm sending the car to a body shop to get completely worked over and painted as soon as the money comes, but my question is should i go to a junkyard and try to find a nicer set of rear fenders and have them grafted in, or should i just have them try to save the ones that are on it? Which would be cheaper? I want to get rid of all the rust before i do any more mods to the car. Also, is there anyone that i can order replacement fenders from for my car? I know they're not actually fenders and that the whole ass of the car is basically all one piece, but i'm pretty desperate for some options here.

rust repair is incredibly expensive, unless you get a MIG and weld new quarter panels yourself, abandon ship and transfer all the parts on you new Accord!

i'm cutting and welding my accord right now and it's a PITA to do it. weldings is not that bad but untill you shape the new sheet metal and all the stuff it's a pain. if i knew i woulndt have started. and my mig welder has a tendency to make waves on the quarter panel

You're overheating the panels, so they warp. You got guts, nice to see more adventurous mechanics amongst us.:smoka:
