Stuck car door

Hi... My wife and I are about to sell our 92 Delta88. For some reason the back driver door has always been stuck since we got it from her parents. The power locks "work" on the other door but not that one. The inside and outside handles move but don't open it. I've had experience taking apart the front passanger side door but seeing that this door won't open I can't take the panel off and look at it.
Any suggestions? Or should I just forget about it and just see what we can get for the car?

can you unlock it with the key from outside, then open the door?

I've temporarily solved the problem... No I cannot use the key, the back door does not have a key hole, like most cars. Anyway, took the plate off the door that surrounds the actual door handle and lock inside the car. I was able to lift up on the door lock bar with this off and pull/jiggle the door handle. A click was heard and after a few tries the door opened. I've taken off the door panel now and with some additional spare time tomorrow will attempt to take the atcual door lock assembly out. It feels like something small is just sticking in it and keeping the door from unlocking. Keeping my fingers crossed.....

firstly, welcome to AF.
now...
this thread is 4 years old.
usually, if a thread is older than a few months, it is 'dead'
next time start a new thread.
to answer your question, there is a small plastic clip that holds the handle onto the bar. it costs < $1 at napa ect.
you have to take the doorpanel off and reach way inside the door to fix it.
hope this helps.
