Alright since i dont really want a flood of responces i figured i would ask my question here.

Alright i REALLY need to fix my vents cause i cant defrost my windows, much to my shock and horror trying to cross a 8 mile long bridge coming home tonight.

my vents are stuck on fresh air, how can i take apart my dash to atleast turn it to recycle air cause that is gonna be a bad bad bad thing if it gets like that again either before or during the trip to oregon. and yes i tried defrosting my windows but that only got about 2 inches at best defrosted. the air doesnt even get warm really, so i know its stuck on fresh air ... it helps to feel the air coming through the side vent hitting my knee ALL the time ...

so yea, any ideas or estimates on difficulty and time it would take to fix would be appreciated. ive made enough in my last two pay checks to afford putting her back into the shop but i would rather not actually have to deal with it again ... nor actually pay to fix this. a quick fix is all i need for the time being and i can work on it more later when summer hits and ive got time off from school.

for those of you that know mechanics ... a quick question on this kinda repair and letting me know would be appreciated.

i dont know how hard it would be to take the dash apart to try and fix it. but i would recommend trying some de-fog stuff from kragen. its like rain-x but for the inside and it helps you from fogging up. i dont remember the name of it though...
