Hello Peoples..I Need Help

I know this has been brought up about 40,000 times prob, but I'm getting rid of my Nissan Maxima, and I'm gonna pick up one of these babies, once i came on here and saw how much stuff there is to do wit them i feel in live. Anyway, I was wondering which is best to get. When i get a car i like to mod the heck out of it. And for the money i was wondering cuz i don't want to drop 12,000 for a turbo or nuffin, i want to know which is best for money, 1.8T,VR6, (12V,24V)....I got no idea i want somthing on the street for whoopin my boy's 97 Mustang Gt, And my myother boys Comaro SS,Thanx alot guys PeAcE!

VW are pretty nice cars, but you're not gonna go against a V8 and whip their mufflers off with a 4 cylinder or even a 6 cyl... not without installing a blower or something.

I got a Nissan Maxima right now, and wit my boys GT when we race we sit head and head and sometimes in longer races i will pull on him and all i got is a 6 wit a heavy car, and all i got is exhaust intake and ecu upgrade. i think the VW turbo will take them both easily wit a few bolt ons, the turbo has much more torgue than my max any day of the week.. Just my 2 cents!!!

ive got the 1.8t and with a chip, and stangs are no problem. I usually laugh so hard I almost pee when a v6 stang tried to race!! not sure your gonna keep with an SS tho. those are some mean cars! stay away from cobras too.

tuneability.....bang for the buck, the 1.8t is the way to go. for $300 - 400, a chip will give you as much as a 40hp gain! boost is wonderful!

1.8t will keep up w/ the stang...

ss...outta ur league untill u do heavy modifications.

forgot to add...turbo is great to work w/...an the gti has nice styling (only vw' IMO) :D
