My own Fast and the Furious model
JP'sCelica

When I saw the video of the Fast and te Furious (FatF) I decided to make my own FatF model. I just had the right model for it, Tamiya's Toyota Celica.
So I took the kit and take a look at my paint collection, but there was nu suitable colour for the model, but when I checked my nail polish collection I found the right colour. Neon light green with gold metallic.
At that time I was modelling Tamiya's DTM Mercedes with the Studio27 etch set. I noticed that the DTM rims were perfect for this FatF model. So I decided to use them. After I decided to use those rims I found out that were more Mercedes parts I could use. I used the brakedisks with the Studio27 parts, the racing seat, the steering wheel and the etch seat belts. I changed the exhaust system (two pipes) and I added a Fujimi rear wing to the model.
Now I have a incomplete Mercedes and Studio27 kit. But that doesn't matter because I know there is no second model of the FatF car.

I noticed that there are amazing colours! Now I have more nailpolishes then my wife, she even uses my nail polish;)
Sometimes I get some strange faces when I buy a bottle of polish, they ask my if it is for a present, no I always said, it's for myself with a big smile on my face.

Looks great! Maybe you don't need them but I think panel lines would add a nice to ch to the green. ;)

JP, that turned out great! Glad to see you had some extra time and finished another model!
After seeing yours and the other SAS Celica today, I think I need to rethink my choice of rear spoilers for my SAS Celica, I was going to use the stock spoiler, but now I think I need to use something more radical.
Nice job!

very nice model, but there isnt a green celica in the movie. You might be thinking of the green eclipse that gets blown up, or you might wanna just call it a tuner celica.
Either way, good job
