To prime or not to prime?

I'm starting my Toyota Carolla WRC soon. I've got all the paint, xacto, thinners, cleaned my air brush, made a work area. Now I'm basically ready to start.

How much of the kit do you actually prime? I think the body is a given but does anyone prime the whole damn thing?

The body and any body trim parts for sure. Other than that, I don't worry about much. A light sanding on some parts will help the paint stick.

One note: prime parts that are going to be a color that's way different that the colot of the plastic. For example, my MR2 is blue, but is molded in red plastic. Without primer, the shade of blue would have been hued red, no matter how many coats I put.

Everything at once, with spray on primer.

I basically prime everything that needs to be painted (that's not clear)

I do the body only most times.

Sand it with 1200 wetndry then about 2-3 light coats of primer followed by the finish coats.
