I working on an assignment for my automotive course and one of the questions is "what are the three main types of cam belts?"
I'm not really sure what to do here.... can anyone help? Thanks.

Thats a VERY tidy esci mate!
Nice.
The V8 conversion will be a bit of a mission though theres not a lot of room, and even a Rover V8 requires some cutting to make it fit.
What about a Turbo'd Nissan or Toyota engine instead?
Anyway, Timing belts.
The 3 methods I can think of for driving a cam shaft would be:
Belt
Chain
Gears
So if its a poorly phrased question that should answer it
If however they want 3 differnt types of cam BELT than I cant help much im affriad except that I know there are differnt tooth types on belts (round and square teeth, and round and square hollows).
