I ave just started loking at wrx's in the past couple of weeks and i am really starting to like the wagons but i am really concerned if there is any drop in the performance because of the extra weight or if there are any other differences bewteen the two. IF any one knows please tell me because i am planning on going out this weekend and possiblly buying one

not much of a drop...
and besides, the wagon still beats the rsx type s in the 1/4...
not bad for a wagon...

Had an '03 wagon , neat little car:bandit: chuck the spare tire..it'll do 95+ in the 1/4 , plus the little ricer kids eye's will pop outta their heads when you smoke 'em.......with a wagon:flipa:
Had the Sonic-yellow one with all the STi installed stuff.....short-shifter with Sti handle , boost guage , integral driving lights....good stuff:D :D :D

Not much in weight differance. Get this a staggering 80 lbs diff.
There also a chassis question in rigidity in rear. Obviously the sedan is stiffer. The wagon can fix that with a rear srut brace.

Wagon is 80 lbs heavier
Sedan has a 20mm wider track
So theoretically the sedan should be quicker and better handling. The difference is so minor it doesn't matter, it'll come down to the drivers.
Besides, the wagon is just better. :p
