Hey guys:
I have a friend with a late model firebird(i think it might be about a 2000 but im not for sure) Neways she wants to maybe get a system but to keep the seek and volume buttons on the steering wheel working. My only way i thought it would be able to be done is if the factory head had the signal wire/audio plug in in the back of the unit so it could hook up to the amp. Any ideas?
Thanxs,
JrS

I would like to know myself. When my CD deck was put in, my controlls on my steering wheel didn't work with the player.

Depends on if the new head unit you are putting in is set up to be able to recieve input from a steering wheel mountied source. Best bet is to talk to an audio dealer/installer and look for a head unit that has a control that can be mounted on the steering wheel. Some wiring will be involved but it is possible.
