TRD at My University

Today (and tomorrow), Toyota Racing Development is at my university to show off their performance cars. They had a IRL car, a Lexus IS300 Pace Car (supercharged to nearly 400bhp) and a Celica. They brought all the cars in a big semi and had a booth set up along side it. They had tons of free stuff there (4 kinds of keychains, calculators, hats, brochures, CD's, puzzles, etc...).

The coolest thing is that I saw the woman I interviewed with there. I asked if she had any news for me and she said that I got the job with Toyota Technical Center in Ann Arbor, MI. :D :cool: :D :cool: :D So I'll be working here (http://129.33.47.206/about/careers/ttc/) in the fall!

I'll post 18 pics of all the cars in a couple hours (I borrowed a friend's digital camera, but I got to wait until he gets back to upload them). Unfortunately it was raining, so they may not be the highest quality. I'm going back tomorrow, so I'll get more pictures. :D

Other than the fact that TRD always makes me think of Turds... I know someone who would DIE for that IS!!! He's got it all worked out in his mind. :p I actually have helped *a teeny bit* in the planning.

My university has a Co-op program (i.e. I work one semester and then I go to school one semester). Then when I graduate I have a job at the company. Currently I'm just a freshman in Mechanical Engineer. So I interviewed with several companies including Toyota.
