Also a good way to get accurate spped is GPS. For instance i have a Garmin StreetPilot 3 which gives exact speed to the tenth. I plan on using it when i get my car back.

Garmin's are a bit expensive. I could "borrow" one but its for Aircraft, Thought about it but have not decided. Should work the same as the street version since all you are looking for is true ground speed.
Any other ideas out there for true speed?

I did 165 in my 91 toyota supra 3 weeks before i sold it. The funny part is the kid with me bought the car. (i was at a safe place when i did this though, the airport)

Oh the things one could do on an open runway... just enough to get in trouble though.
