1/24 Opel Astra DTM This kit is the same as the Opel released earlier on by Tamiya...just a different colour. The only real drama with this kit is trying to get the Orange paint looking good. Its quite a hard colour to get right as it will dry different shades of orange if applied too thick in places. The kit is another joy to build from Tamiya. The opening doors make the kit stand out. Takes a bit of mucking around to get them right, but well worth it as the hardest part is trying to get the little screws in place and getting the door hinge to stay glued to the frame !! Why Tamiya never put a tiny screw driver in the kit I'll never know !! Back
