1/24 Tamiya Volkswagen VR5 Golf I wondered why I ever brought this kit as I thought it was a real dog !!.... but it was on sale and I brought it cheap... but after getting it home and looking through the kit I changed my mind. The kit was given a rather big lowering job for the look I wanted. Quite a while was spent getting it just right with the wheels fitting into the guards. The guards scream out for bigger rims !! Some new aftermarket 18's were added to fill the guards up and to complete the look that I wanted. Once the car was lowered to what I wanted it was then sprayed in Tamiya bright red for a nice deep look. No problems with parts fitting. In the end I was really pleased with how it turned out, but once again IMO its the wheels that come with the kit that let it down. Back
