I have a 99 iL with a recently expired warranty. The "Bend over and spread 'em" . . er I mean "Service Engine Soon" light is now on (how do it know!).

Who has had good luck with an extended warranty purchase, either BMW or other, and can I purchase it now that the original warranty has expired?

TRY TO FIND A DEALER THAT CARRIES "HERITAGE" WARRANTIES. I AM IN THE BUSINESS AND OFFER THESE TO DEALERS. I ALSO HAVE REPAIR SHOPS THAT SPECIALIZE IN HI-LINE IMPORTS OFFERING THESE TO THEIR CUSTOMERS. THEY LIKE THE COMPANY. ALSO HAVE A MERCEDES DEALER SELLING ON THEIR USED MERCS.
