help on rewiring fogs (b-b00gie)

Hey b-b00gie what up? I was reading your post on your website about rewiring, and i was wondering what kinda of 2-foot wire do you use? any kinda or special wire that can handle the bulbs energy?

Also..in step 10, instead of useing the connector to connect the 3 wires, can you just twist them together and put electrical tape over them?

last thing...what happens to the remaining of the pink wire with blue stripes that was left? is it just dangling there not connected to anything? thanks

I followed b-boogie's directions and was successful - i can answer your questions based on what i did.

Use a 14-16 gauge wire. I used 14 i think.
You could use electrical tape - as long as you tape it up well - you shouldnt have a problem - personally i used a butt connector only because it looks cleaner than tape.
Yes, the remainder of the pink/blue wire just lays there - you can tape it against the relay trim if you want - but, whatever you do DO NOT connect it to any of the wires. Personally, I just left it there.

hope this helps.

Yeah, I would use a connector to join the 3 wires. Tape is messy and can come apart.

About the pink/blue wire, tape it down, or put a terminating cap on it.

I DID IT! I rewired the fogs today! AHAHA IM GOOD!!!!!!! lol just kidding. thank you very much, i am so happy that I can use my fogs without the headlights, im the only G20 in this state that can do that!!!!! MWAHAHAHA, jk. But anyway, I used tape for the connections, and it seems to work fine. The whole process took me about 45 min, because it took like 10 min to take the relay frame off, I forgot about one of the tabs on the far left. But everything went smoothly, and its all good. Cant wait till i get my PIAA's tomorrow! my ride is gonna be pure BAD ASS!!!!! ahaha thanks again to everyone.
