Had an idea, how about a muscle car model meet. Just on AF even, a tread full of peoples musclecar models. If enough people want to do this we will need to set an era of models to show and a date on which to show them. We should limit the amount of pictures put in the thread, three of each model? Whatever you can think of post it here if people would like to meet all the old American muscle together.
Heres my Chevrolet Monza model i did for a co-worker/friend. His car is almost exact to this. Its a '77 (with a 79 front nose), but i think its still definatly a muscle car! The real car is about the size of a chevy cavilier with a 383 small block chevy (stroker) in it!

i didnt build eleanor so i just modified a amt 67 instead

Hi. Not quite a musclecar but with the 409 engine, it could pass:sunglasse . I cut the trunk open, wired the engine, added a sound system to the trunk, lowered the front, added keys in the ignition, and a few other things.:smile: http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/893998imptop.jpg
Thought I should contribute to this little meet here, took the pictures today and didn't want to make a new thread about it.
1969 Shelby Mustang GT-500, it was inspired by "Gone in 60 Seconds" painted Testors Gloss Gray and the supplied black decals. The only thing "out-of-the-box" is the Blitz rims from Aoshima.
Here is an old friend, an AMT 67 Shelby GT350, built box stock except for the wheels and wipers. Paint is Model Master enamel Boyd "True Blue Pearl", clear is model master clear enamel.
Amt 1957 corvette Gasser.Made my headers from .062 solder.Paint is Boyd's Black Pearl. Motor came from a 1968 vette roaster .Everything else is stock.
