Question sleepy eye mod for 1g

anyone know how to do the sleepy eye mod on the 1g? I was thinking of using a dimmer switch (cluster dimmer) to limit voltage to the flip up motor so I can adjust height of lights from inside the car. any suggestions?? thanks

i think the lazy eye looks kinda dumb on a 1g. its no where near as nice as on a 240sx or an mr2. i'd check out vfaq, they most likely have a few links about it.

they have a manual knob somewhere under the hood near each headlight, on my 90 laser they are right above the headlight along the side, it will have a rubber cover on it that just pulls off, when you pull it off it shows you which way to turn the knob, just turn it untill each headlight is raised about an inch and a half
at night if you turn on your headlights they will work fine but when you turn them off the headlights will go down all the way again so you'll have to manually raise them each time, but it takes about 30 seconds and its the cheapest way to do it FREE!

I also don't think it looks as good as the 240sx sleepy eye

Just pull the headlight fuse under the hood, then the lights wont go down.
