98 Cirrus

I just got a 98 Cirrus. I love it. Nicest car I've ever owned (which isn't saying much) but it's just a great car.
What's bugging me now though is that I've had it a week. Yesterday while driving it the charging system light came on.
I drove home about 14 miles and shut the car off. Restarted and the light hasn't come back on yet!
I checked the battery and the indicator is green. I'm hoping it's not the altenator. Could be the belt. What's bugging me is that it came on for 14 miles and hasn't come back on yet.
If anyone has any ideas let me know.

I wouldn't worry bout it

I really would worry bout it. Once in a while the system get a glitch in it and a sensor goes hay wire. But once u turn the car off and on again it goes away. If it comes on again i would look into it. But other then that I wouldn't. Also if there is corrosion around the battery terminals then that can happen as well. Check the terminals. Both the remote terminals and the ones on the battery.
