2001 Alero 3.4L. HVAC blower only comes on in the last three positions of the rotary knob. Is there a lo speed / hi speed relay? I've checked corresponding fuses, but they all seem okay. Little help?

After doing some research, I figured I should mention that I installed a resistor in my ignition wiring to bypass my passlock system. The blower motor issue started ocurring after "fixing" the passlock.

I agree, it is located under/behind the glovebox.
