Took my 2004 Toyota Sienna in for inspection and maintenance at around 90K miles. They recommended replacing both rear wheel bearings after "hearing" some noise. Cost of fix is around $1,200.00. Needs to be done but can't afford right now. Anyone know how to replace or can recommend a website with great instructions? I do believe their recommendation is correct as my Sienna is exhibiting the classic signs of bearing failure. Alignment was done recently and the rear tires are fairly new with only 15K miles on them. Brakes were replaced recently with ample pad remaining.

What "classic signs" of bearing failure are you experiencing? Replacing the rear hubs is a fairly easy DIY job. You can get decent aftermarket hubs for less that $150 each. Check out the Repair Manual on this forum.
