hey i got a 99 alero and im not sure whats wrong with it.
generally it starts up fine and can get me from point a to b.
ocasionally however it wont start at all, or ill have to try it 10-20times before it does.
also sometimes on the freeway it will just die...
sometimes if i give it a little gas while its dieing out it saves it, and keeps on running fine...
other times theres nothing i can do....

i was wondering what kinda problem this could be...
people have speculated a fuel pump would fix it,
others have said its probably electrical.

what do you guys think?
any advice is helpful.

It is most likely the fuel pump failing.
