Exterior Scratches on Plastic :finger:

Is there anything I can do to hide/cover/fix scratches that I have on the outside plastic panels of my Xterra?

Thanks

Same problem i'm having, well mine is beyond minor but still, just incase i get it scratched, how do we remove it? If we can't, how much would the plastic bumper cost?

You guys are hilarious!!! You take your trucks off road, right? Your just gonna get more scratches...
Mother's Back to Black works great at restoring the color...but you'll never get the scratches out!

I am here for just simple modding... I'm not an off road person. I'm from L.A, but maybe one day I'll go camping with some friends. Off road is just not my style, I don't like taking risks with my car.

...Not necessarily on purpose...

I was going down a curve at about 50 the other day, and hit a bunch of [Winter salt/plow damaged] ripples in the pavement...Front end hung on; but the rear end began hopping all over the place...I couldn't hold it straight, had to turn into the impending spin and drove off the shoulder onto the grassy runoff area...

No scratches, and no dry-cleaning bill; but that Add-A-Leaf is starting to look pretty good...

Not sure if an AAL would have made a difference, but good shocks probably would have.

Yup. Good shocks (Bilsteins) will keep the tires from hopping on washboards, etc. But at 50mph there might have been forces that would override even that.

Come on Rick. He live in LA, and calls his Xterra a "car". Pretty obvious he doesn't take it offroad. (just screwing with 'ya Diversetek).

Those are not scratches, they are 'beauty marks.

Well, someone left a white/blue 6" beauty mark on one of my rear fender lips [plastic]...

I'm going to try a 3M pad & see if the paint will come off...

The scratch can stay...
