Nismo R34 complete - Many large pics

Complete is not entirely true:D I want to do the Nismo decals to start with, the intercooler you see here is the kit part hurriedly covered in BMF for the purpose of the pics while i make the Nismo one. The exhaust needs to be changed too but i completely forgot about that:rolleyes:

Anyway, the kit is Tamiya's V-Spec R34 with my resin Nismo bodykit added as you may know. Colour is authentic Nissan Athlete Silver supplied by Jimbob - awesome spray cans BTW, then Halfords clear lacquer. Interior is as per kit instructions, nothing special done to the chassis apart from a wash applied to the engine and exhaust. Nismo LMGT4 rims were poached from a V-Spec II kit and painted Halfords Appliance Gloss White.

Very nice, but one question....when did you fly to Florida, take my kit and finish it. :D :D :D You know, it took me almost three days after I got your conversion kit in the mail to come up what color to paint it. I thought, gunmetal gray with white rims would look cool...and lo and behold here are pics of it done. Oh well, almost done with mine will post pics in the Skyline Meet thread soon. :D :D

Hey Fly, is there a way that I could possibly purchase a mix-and-match set of the bopdy kits? Because I like the Nismo hood, but the C-West body kit..

Thanks for the comments so far people;)

Here's some reference pics; I was basing it on the first pic, but i think i now prefer the second one with the black rims. Its typical that i would find that pic after the rims were painted;) Anyway, sourced some more rims so i can paint those ones black and swap them to suit my mood:D

Just goes to show that bright colors and large wings aren't necessary for a great lookin model.

Yes, its the decal supplied in the kit. All i did was give it a quick brush with some Micro Sol so that it would conform the the molding of the emblem.
