All,
I have been having a whistling sound everytime the engine rev's to 2500 RPM and above, it will gradualy decrease around 3500rpm. I oringinally thought this was due to the IMG but I have since replaced it and the should is still there. I have no codes that pop up either.
any advice would be appreciated. thanks

Can you duplicate the problem sitting still. You can operatate the throttle under the hood and possibly find it.

sounds like a classic intake manifold gasket issue. see the FAQ link below.

Intake manifold is new, I had the wife accelerate it to over 25k rpm and I can not recreate this sound while the car is in park or in nuetral. Very strang. any other thoughts? I am at a loss.. Thanks:banghead:

I had a buzzing noise at 2500 RPM and only during driving. It was loose heat shields that resonated with the the car vibrations at 2500 RPM.

Re-attached with hose clamps. RIght up around the exhaust manifold and near the cat converter.

That stopped the buzzing noise.

Otherwise check the seating on your airfilter.
