Question 1997 Camry - Taking Bumper Cover off, and Corner Lens piece

I was in a fairly low speed impact against a guard rail (yeah, that was stupid of me). The bumper crumpled inward on the corner of my passenger side , didn't break, or anything, just crushed into itself. I also lost my corner lens assembly, it shattered, I think some of the foam may be messed up inside the bumper cover in there as well, but that's probably no big deal. What I want to do is take off the bumper cover, tap out the dent, and put in the corner lens assembly.

On the bumper cover, does anyone know exactly where are all the harness bolts that are holding onto the bumper cover? Is there a diagram or something like that for doing this type of job? I can see one each in the wheel well, then attached to the radiator frame structure. Probably a few on the underside as well but I'm not sure where the rest are.

Also I'm wondering if there's anything to watch out for in this job. Is it simple as unscrew the bolts/nuts and the bumper cover comes off? I've never done anything like that before so I want to be sure I don't get surprised. For example, should I worry about airbag sensor or trigger or something close to the bumper area? I don't want to inadvertently activate the air bag if I'm not careful messing around the bumper or frontal chasis.

Lastly, I have the turn signal light ziptied to the recess that where corner lens suppose to go. This way I'll at least be street legal to drive it around. Before I can get the corner lense assembly in there, should I worry about if it rains? Would it cause electrical issue if I have a turn signal light and socket exposed to the elements?

I'd appreciate any help with this, thanks lots.

For bumper copver removal and installation instructions download the generation 4 factory service manual stickied at the top of this forum's home page.

"Would it cause electrical issue if I have a turn signal light and socket exposed to the elements?" It could blow the bulb.
