WIP: Ferrari 430 Scuderia x2

I just got my shipment from 1999.co.jp and it included 2 sets of the Fujimi Ferrari 430 Scuderia. The reason why I´m building this model is because I think it is the most advanced and extreme Ferrari to date. And when I even get to work at this car nearly every day you get a little extra kick when you have it in a scale model

Here´s the pictures !

I have also painted the rims. A close match to the real deal I would say ?

It is time for a rather small update

Since I last posted I have clearcoated the bodies and also started to polish them a little bit.. So there´s nothing new that´s been happening.. but I will show you some pics of the bodies as it stands right now

It´s a really slow process of polishing the bodies. I have just started using Tamiya Compounds.. But it certainly makes a GREAT amount of difference to the whole appearance of the model !

Nice paintwork and color choices! Polishing does take forever, but the results are worth it. I like building pairs of cars too, as I can't choice one single color.

What do you mean Rickard, when you say you get to work on this car every day? Are you lucky enough to be a mechanic or owner? I'm jealous...

UPDATE !! :twisted:

I´m actually getting close to finishing these two beautiful cars. The first models I´ve finished for over a year and it feels great to acutally finish something.

I have finished up the chassis and now I only got the bodies left to finish

A slight polish all around, fitment of exterior parts and then it´s finished !
