Though it could be a bad connection or bad ground issue, this sounds like the alternator going belly up. All kinds of "strange" occurrences are known to happen as the alternator is on its way out. I would go have it tested. One thing you want to remember when you get ir repaired. Make sure the battery is fully charged. An alternator is not designed to work as a battery charger. A badly discharged battery can fry an alternator; they just can't handle the work.
