THank glennet404 06-16-2009, 09:14 AM Hello- Sounds like it could be more of a problem with the brakes than transmission. Try this test - as your doing your 55-60 on the highway and you feel the van begin to slow down - gently put the transmission into neutral. If you resume speed then your right - it's in the transmission. If on the other hand you continue to slow unusually fast then it may be an issue the brakes. I had something like your describing happen to me - and it turned out to be the brake booster. Good Luck Glenn loulovecar 06-16-2009, 01:15 PM Thank for the info is there anyone who may had the same problem. serge_saati 06-16-2009, 08:07 PM When you release the accelerator, your rpm should drop immediately at 1000rpm or less. If it's more than that, it's something related with the powertrain system or PCM. If it drops, it could be the brake, a misalignment in front wheel or a bearing. loulovecar 06-17-2009, 05:36 PM man thank i do need the front wheel alignment on my van I'm going o do the alignment check out rest Thank again. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
