1993 s-10 blazer 4.3 cpi...another one with fuel problems?

I bought the truck the other day for cheap. the guy said it aint ran in over a year. first thing i did was check to see if i got spark and fuel pressure (just pokin valve not with a guage). both where good. I poured gas down intake and it ran for a second or 2. pulled top of intake and checked the spider out. seems the solenoid wasnt getting a ground so i made one and it sprayed out all the injectors like a champ. put it all back together. and nothing. tried to pour more gas and would not even sputter. check spark again and was still good. any ideas that would help?
thx

i pulled all plugs after not messing with it for a day or two and they were dry and still wouldnt do anything but im just saying screw it and put a carb on it and call it a day. the only purpose i got the thing was a offroad toy so fuel milage and all that stuff dont matter and where im at its just mud not anything steep so i dont worry about the carb on a hill cutting out

A helluva alot easier and probably cheaper to fix the current problem. Get someone with a proper OBD II scanner to look at it and if it has 60PSI+ of fuel pressure then the pump is probably good. DO a proper fuel pressure test as well. You will be doing a ton of work swapping it over to a carb and I doubt it will ever run right if at all.
