Honda won't run

I have an 89 accord, 2.0 liter carburated engine.

If the ECM is bad, will the engine not run?

Yes,
as well as other stuff.

We need more information on what it is doing/not doing. What is the car maintenance history?

First off, Thanks for looking.
The engine quit running. We had both spark and gas. Compression at 180lbs on all cyl.
No start, gas in carb or starting fluyid. Checked fuel pump. Would only pop or random fire but no start and run.

Pull started and it ran for about three minutes, died again and now has no spark.

We have replaced and or tested, ign switch, dist, dist. cap and rotor. Plugs and wires.

We have power to the ECM, to the dist and to the coil but no spark at plugs.

We opened up the ECM and nothing looks burnt.

I am not familiar with carbureted Hondas, but what comes to mind is the main relay. Have you looked into it?
