I've read many of the thread on this problem but none seem to be exactly the same as my problem. So if ya don't mind i'd like some help with mine.

friend gave me a wrecked 98 ford taurus, front end no frame damage body only,cap, fender, and the alternator was robbed out of it. It sat up for 1.5yrs with radiator drained. Before moving I changed oil, flushed radiator, and put new oil filter, air filter. I put it on the road and drove it home. It drove wonderful for sitting up for that long. when i got home i noticed the coolant was low with no overheating indicated on the temp gauge. the next day i checked the oil and it was milkshaked. also when i added water to radiator it was brown mucky oily. no matter how much i flushed it just seemed to keep coming. I immediately thought head gasket. so i jumped in and tore the motor down and found a broken head bolt. the culprit i presumed. Check the heads which are not aluminum, and found no warping or cracks. Installed new head gaskets, lower intake manifold gasket, upper intake manifold gasket and I torqued everything to OEM specs. and double checked. I added new oil and coolant. turned it over with no fuel or fire and it was as smooth as a baby bottom. Added fuel and fire and drove it like i stole it. she ran great. Pulled in the drive way and the DAMN WATER BOILED OUT OF THE RADIATOR CAP. Brown mucky and oily. BUT my oil is still lookin good. I got one of those block testers with the blue dye. I ran the test twice and got no color change in the die. It Stayed blue. I installed a backflush kit with the inline tees and hooked up the hose and ran it for about 10 minutes and the water ran clear with sand like particles in it. cap it up and ran it. car ran cooler than what i had been seeing( normally its running mid range now it ran just below midrange.) water didnt boil out this time but it is oily and brown and mucky still. Also, no smoke of any kind coming from exhaust, all of the original spark plugs were identical, normal color. Im going to go run it on the road and see if it boils out when i get back. Ill update my post when i get back. Could this just be oil trapped in my radiator from the original failure? and could a blockage cause my water to boil out like this? and if it is blockage why doesn't it show an overheat on my temp gauge? Please guy bounce some Ideas off me. I need HELP!!!!!!

EURIKAAA!!!! I think i have found the problem. HAHAHAHAHHAAHHA

I went for a drive and came home. It didnt overpressure this time since i put a radiator cleaner in it. so I took it out for another spin and when i put it in drive KLUNK, it dropped into gear with a jerk that gave me whiplash. so i say to myself, great now i got tranny problems with this hunk a excrament. but it wasn't doin this a little while ago. Hmm. When the car was wrecked my friend said he had to straighten out the radiator. I may have omitted this fact early. sorry. Yall get it yet --THE TRANS COOLER!!!! I pulled the dip stick for the tranny and whalla milky with coolant. So i need to flush my tranny, install a new filter and fluid, and aftermarket cooler and plug the old lines. and she should be as good as new. I hope this helps anyone else who has similar problems.
