power seat problem

On my '97 Explorer, if I pump the air up for my lumbar support in my power seat, it gradully goes back down in about a minute. It won't keep any air in the lumbar region. Every other explorer I test drove before buying this one had the same problem. Is that the way it's made or what is causing the problem?
