Pwr sliding door

Anyone figure out why the pwr sliding doors on these have problems? Mine will start beeping as you drive until I stop and open and close the door again. It only does it once in awhile.

Re: Pwr sliding door

That is one of the "Achilles heels" of these vans. There have been reports from many owners of Uplanders with similar issues with their power sliding doors. The problem seemed to have been carried over from it's predecessor, the Venture.
Some "fixes"offered to see if it clears the problem is to clean the contacts of the door, check the adjustment of the cable that pulls the door closed, faulty locking mechanism,or checking to see if something (i.e. a piece of moulding or weatherstripping) might be in the way preventing it from closing properly.
