1999 Rodeo LS V6 spark plug/coil diagram?

i notice my rodeo started jumping from 100-1500 rpm when coming to a stop then after a few seconds idle fine.

stopped at advance auto parts to hook up to the computer for it to tell me a few O2 sensors were problematic and cylinder #3 was misfiring. the guy told me misfire could come from clogged catalytic converter or coil is bad.

i just want a diagram of the spark plug coils so i can trouble shoot.

Re: 1999 Rodeo LS V6 spark plug/coil diagram?

A simpler way of troubleshooting a suspected bad coil would be to swap it to another cylinder and then see if the misfire code follows. For example, a cylinder 3 misfire code would be a p0303. Switch #3's coil to, for example, cylinder 5 and see if the code changes to a p0305. If it does, replace the coil. If it doesn't, you have other problems.
