Yes, I cut the pink/white wire that goes into the ABS module-at the ABS module under the brake fluid reservoir...
Evidently there is/was an internal short inside the module- I am not paying$1500 for a new one, nor do I care about a used one..I wanted the van to shift, and the speedometer (digital dash) to work. I did this about 3 or 4 years ago, and the adverse effect is that troublesome ABS light on the dash- but a small piece of electrical tape covers it nicely. So now my van performs exactly like previous year's vans do- with no ABS.
