96 Regal Speed-o-meter

I have had a rough time with what i thought to be a bad ground, but was actually the positive terminal on my car. the car would start one time and not the other, but its all fixed now.

The problem now is that my speed o meter turned all the way past the 180 km/h mark and is pointing directly down. weird. it happened when i turned my key on, heard a weird noise under the dash and watched the needle go.

So my question is, how do i get it to go back to zero?
Thanks in advance!!
Rickard
