Cityliner Coach (Motorhome)

Well I have finally got my Revell Cityliner Coach after 3 months on layby paying a little every two weeks. Now for the big build this thing measure in at 51cm (20inches) but the whole project once it's built will be much bigger as the coach will be hauling a trailer as show in the mockup.

If anyone can help with wiring I'd be gratefull for that.

Floor pan showing passenger seat positions.

Floor pan now with false floor in for motorhome furniture.

Mockup of Motorhome & Trailer.

Mockup side veiw lenght of unit is 84cm (33inches), yep huge.

This project is one big job and where I'm going to put it well that's another story.

Re: Cityliner Coach (Motorhome)

Yeah!!! Finally somebody with the balls to convert that rather ugly and mighty expensive coach into a nice motorhome. And you're even going to add a trailer

Keep it coming, I'm definitely going to watch this build. For inspiration on rather large motorhomes click here.

Is that luggage trailer a part of the kit?

Re: Cityliner Coach (Motorhome)

Khier, no the trailer is a Gaxilie car carry trailer an extra, all others thanks for your enthusiazm I will need it but don't get too excited about seeing this build soon as I have to get through my wifes illness first and that hopefully be in late May early June, let's hope late May as wot usually happens, I will keep all informed once the built starts for now it's been packed back into the box and placed with the rest of my unbuilt kits wait for the sun to show it's face again.

Re: Cityliner Coach (Motorhome)

Alright! Let's set up an RV cruise when we get done!
http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=954134

I know what you mean about everyone having some patience, as mine has been in progress for 7 years. I've gotten my Bachelors degree, had a second kid, moved, changed jobs twice and am on my second digital camera since starting mine. I also had the crazy notion of replicating my 1:1 scale so I had a TON of scratch building to do. Very, very few unmodified parts on that thing. And I sure learned a lot trying to get it built.

Keep up the good work, I'll be watching.
