Disappointed in the Mini Cooper.

Please bear with me. I was considering getting a Mini because I think they're hot cars. I always research the web and I was totallly surprised at how many problems people are having with them. Engines lose water when new, turbo filter melts and gosh knows what else. If youhave doubts please research it and you'll see what I mean. I could post Mini forums verifying what I say but we aren't allowed to do that here. One British forum the guys saying they're having a Mini rally at the executive offices of the Mini protesting and complaining about so many problems with the Mini.

I am really, really disappoiinted because I was ready to get one, but if I have problems with it and the nearest dealer is 75 miles away, I'm sticking with my Scion xB. Our family has two with around 12K miles on them and so far not one single problem with them. Maybe because they have a Camry engine and tranny built by Toyota. Really love to have a real Beamer but to much moola for me, way out of my price range. But then, I'd like to have a Porsche Carrera to.
