Cool fuel problems 1998 3.1 lumina

ok so i replaced my engine and transmission last year after snapping the camshaft clean in half and destroying the block before that everything worked great! but now my fuel pump is not working with the key on checked the 7x and 14 x crank sensors there good i currently have a jump wire going from inside fuse panel to fuel pump relay (which is new relay replaced) to turn pump on with the key on works good enough till i can get it right but want it back to factory anyone have any ideas where i went wrong?????

With the key on you should have power to one of the terminals for the relay at all times. One should have power when you turn the key on for 3-5 seconds or the entire time your cranking the engine over. Two of the terminals will be grounded all the time. One obviously to the fuel pump and the other to the body. It should be easy to figure out which one your missing with a test light.
