Question towing capacity

I have a 1988 chev silverado crew cab 2500HD. With a 350 and 4,10 in the rear. Does anyone know what I could handle with regards to a fifth wheel. I do not have the owner's manual. Chev does not keep these records for more that 10 years.

1988 silverado

Let me know what you find out. I just picked up an 88 2500 Extended cab long bed and was wondering the same thing.

Towing specs

Try MSN autos. Put in the truck and year then select specifications. It will tell you how much you can trailer.
