drive train knocking?

My 89 toyota sr5 pickup knocks only when above 2100RPM, and gets progressivly worse as the RPM go up. if reved when not driving there is no knock, its not comming from the engine, is it possible that it may be the drivetrain. any ideas will help. Thanks

Re: drive train knocking?

A more detailed description would help us help you. A knock above 2100rpm is not much to work with
