Radio change question.

I have a 2001 rodeo LS. The radio has a cassette and a cd player. There are a total of 8 speakers. My question is.....If I change out the radio with an after market radio.....can I still use all 8 speakers? Of course, the 2 speakers in the very back seem kind of pointless. So I really could do away with those. Thank you for any help.

Re: Radio change question.

you shouldn't have any issues. Your factory deck has front (2 speakers) and rear (6 speakers) balance. So an aftermarket deck would do the same thing. Please make sure you do not hack the original wiring harness. I would recomemend buying a deck at Crutchfield because they give you the correct wire harness to plug into your factory plug.

Sounds good. Thanks.
