Unhappy 87 jimmy wont start

My 87 Jimmy will not start... I had the cylanoid (sp?) replaced and the starter tests good, the mechanic has checked absolutely EVERYTHING. It has a brand new battery, the ignition tested perfect. does anyone have any ideas?

It doesnt even try to turn over. no sound whatsoever, no clicking no nothing. The alternater is brand new so is the belt etc.

I am so very frustrated and so is the master mechanic that spent the entire day trying to figure it out.

Please help....
Thank you.

Check the neutral safety switch.
