I have a 1991 toyota corolla sedan it has 150,000 miles on and still going strong. I had to change the wiper motor and wiper transmission because they seized. So i changed both parts with quality replacements and when the wiper is turned on it clicks every time like its rubbing against something (only where the wiper motor is connected to the wiper transmission. I pull it apart, check it and check it again everything seems fine but still clicks, nothing seems bent. a 30 min job turned into 4 hours. Please help out, im losing my mind for something very simple.

You may have a faulty transmission. Not every new part is perfect. Try a new one. It sound like one of the shafts has too much runout.

Sometimes the plastic shaft mounts break loose, causing the linkage rods, ball ends, etc, to rub against each other as they reciprocate. Old linkage rubber mounts can also cause the linkage assembly to warp as it articulates. Finally, check the motor's output shaft to see if it sticks out far enough to contact the linkage connection as it rotates. You may have to grind it down a little for clearance.
